I have a secret for you. Your self-image and self-confidence has nothing to do with your body.
Bodies change with age, especially after children, a crisis or a significant life change (for women AND men). You will not feel the same when you look in the mirror at 40 as you did at 25. It’s all about your thoughts and what you believe about yourself. There are sexy and self-confident people of all sizes and shapes. Your self-confidence comes from identifying and living in your purpose and re-wiring negative thought patterns through changing your belief system. You and you alone, are in control of your body and mind. When you realize no one can take self-confidence away from you with an unkind word or look, you can begin to stand in your own power. That kind of confidence is radiant and you guessed it- attractive. What do you think when you look in the mirror?

Truth always stands in the world. When something is true for you, you are motivated to follow through. It's when other opinions don’t match your truth, you get confused.
People pleasing creates unhappy people. For example; going on a diet for someone else isn’t sustainable.
How you see yourself is how you talk to yourself; make good friends with this idea. You can take control of the force inside of you that is feeding you negative ideas. Self-confidence comes from your own awareness of this force and deciding not to listen but proceed nonetheless. Indulging in insecurities is your brain's way of avoiding change and keeping you safe.
Self- confidence is often confused with confidence. Confidence however is based on evidence from one's past. We look to our past experiences, knowledge and abilities to know we can take on a particular task. Confidence is based on a belief system that has evidence.
